CLASSICAL PILATES
What is Classical Pilates?
The Pilates Method is a corrective exercise technique developed by Joseph Pilates. He drew his inspiration from both Western and Eastern exercise regimes and created a sequence of exercises on various pieces of equipment that connect body and mind, focus on the proper use of breath, and a strong center.
What can I expect?
Pilates is more than a workout. It is different from any other physical exercise you have done. It is a corrective exercise that will help you build symmetry in your body. As pain and discomfort often come from imbalances, doing the exercises correctly and regularly will help the body repair itself. Classical Pilates builds deep core strength, enhances posture and flexibility, and cultivates mindful sustainable movement through disciplined full-body control.
